If you are age 40–74, have a valid Ontario health card, have no new breast symptoms and meet routine Ontario Breast Screening Program eligibility, you can contact an OBSP location yourself. You do not need an appointment with Health Haven first.

For most average-risk eligible people, screening mammography is generally recommended every two years.
Ontario residents ages 40–74 who have no new breast symptoms and meet routine Ontario Breast Screening Program eligibility can usually call a participating site directly without a referral.
